Course Description:

Students should have completed Beginning Ballet.

Students will work at a quicker pace and with a wider range of vocabulary.

Students should continue to improve in grace, elegance, technique, discipline, flexibility, stamina and endurance. Students should display correct anatomical alignment, both in static and dynamic movement. They should be able to perform ballet steps with aplomb and co-ordination of all body parts, while being responsive to musical and rhythmical structures. Students should see an increase in Social Skills, Creativity and Spatial Awarness . Students will be required to learn some French, anatomy, and history during this course. Ballet is the “backbone” of all dance training.
